Q: How does LATISSE® work?
A: The active ingredient, bimatoprost, was first approved in 2001 as a medical product to lower
intraocular pressure in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Patients
treated  for this specific eye condition experienced improvement in eyelash appearance as a
     side effect.

Q: Is LATISSE® safe?
A: The long-term safety of bimatoprost for therapeutic use has been recognized by the medical
community and well established based on use in 32 clinical trials involving more than 5,700
glaucoma patients and more than 13 years of clinical trial experience.

Q: Are there any possible side effects?
A: The most common side effects are red and/or itchy eyes and have been reported in
approximately 4% of patients in the clinical trials. Less commonly LATISSE® may cause
eye irritation, dryness on the skin close to where it is applied, and darkening of the
eyelid that is expected to reverse if LATISSE® use is discontinued.

Q: Could my eyes change colour with LATISSE®?
A:  Although there are no reports of eye colour change while using LATISSE®, there is
a very low incidence of permanent increased brown iris pigmentation when bimatoprost is
     administered directly into the eye.

Q: What happens if I stop using LATISSE®?
A:  If LATISSE® is discontinued, lashes are expected to gradually return to their pre-treatment
     appearance.

Q: Can anyone use LATISSE?
A:  LATISSE® should not be used by anyone allergic to any of the ingredients, who have no
existing visible eyelashes, or those pregnant or breastfeeding. You should not use
LATISSE® if you have an active eye infection, other eye diseases, or if you need eye
     surgery.

Q: Can I wear mascara and/or contact lenses while using LATISSE®?
A:  Mascara can be applied while using LATISSE®. Contact lenses should be removed prior to
the application of LATISSE® solution and may then be reinserted 15 minutes after
     application.
